The Secret is Down There Help us find answers
Our research brings us one step closer to finding an actual Fjord Monster that we can share with the world. Until now Fjord Monsters have remained elusive, however, we have managed to capture a few glimpses of these wonderful creatures just before they dart off perhaps never to be seen again. In this section you will have the opportunity to study the research that we have completed to date as well as to read about the adventures that we have experienced along the way.
Sognefjord King of the Fjords
Located in western Norway, Sognefjord, the King of the Fjords, is the world’s second largest fjord spanning more than 200 km inland. Sognefjord is the largest and deepest fjord in Norway and is 1300 meters deep and at its widest point is over 4 km wide. Unique cold- water coral reefs exist in the Sognefjord, and the fjord is a popular dive cold water dive destination due to its pristine sunken ship wreckage.
Junior Researchers are very important to us. Please send us photos of your drawings or pictures of findings so that we can share them with our researchers and fellow Fjord Monster fans.
